Megger MET1000 All-in-One True RMS Electrical Tester
The Megger MET1000 All-in-One True RMS Electrical Tester is a multifunctional voltage and current tester with detachable test leads. Its eclectic test and measurement capabilities reduces the number of instruments required by electricians and electrical engineers.
The Megger MET1000 All-in-One True RMS Electrical Tester includes the following measurement parameters and tests:
- True RMS AC voltage up to 1000V
- DC voltage up to 1000V
- True RMS AC current up to 200A
- Continuity up to 50KΩ
- Inrush current
- Phase rotation
- Single-pole test

This voltage and current tester also features ELV indication, Auto Polarity detection, and a Data Hold function for freezing measurements on the 9999-count, backlit, digital display. Additionally, the Megger MET1000 All-in-One True RMS Electrical Tester is equipped with an LED scale for indicating detected voltage. It has a response time of <0.5s when measuring DC voltage and a <0.5s bar response time.
Voltage and continuity tests are auto-ranging; continuity tests are accompanied by an audible alert. The Megger MET1000 All-in-One True RMS Electrical Tester will continue to identify and measure voltage even when its batteries have expired. Furthermore, it includes a built-in current clamp with a 39mm jaw size for ascertaining AC current. It can measure conductors with a diameter of up to 16mm. Additionally, to avoid tripping RCDs and RCBOs, the Megger MET1000 All-in-One True RMS Electrical Tester has a maximum current draw of >3.5mA.
The Megger MET1000 All-in-One True RMS Electrical Tester is compliant with IEC/ EN 61243-3:2014 and is safety rated to CAT IV 600V/ CAT III 1000V. Moreover, this rugged, ergonomic and streamline voltage and continuity meter has an ingress protection rating of IP65 and features a protective finger guard, a carrying holster with a belt loop, and a simple-to-use probe mount. It also includes GS38 shrouds, interchangeable Ø2mm and Ø4mm tips, and a bright LED torch for illuminating workspaces.
Finally, the Megger MET1000 All-in-One True RMS Electrical Tester is equipped with an Auto Power Off function for conserving battery life.
