The 1670 Series’ rugged design allows you to verify the safety of electrical installations in domestic, commercial, and industrial applications while meeting the requirements of IEC/HD 60364-6 and all relevant local installation test standards.

Simplified User Interface and Testing Setup

The 1670 Series takes data management to the next level streamlining test set up and preparation with an advanced bidirectional user interface. When setting up your project, the hierarchical tree topology for clients, sites, distribution boards, circuits, and test points can be easily customized using the high-resolution colour touchscreen, a smart device, or by PC. Edit, add, delete, or modify information directly on the tool as you test to ensure accurate data, or transfer updates to your tester via the Fluke Connect™️ mobile app or TruTest™️ desktop software. Easy-to-read test tables help you quickly see that you are capturing the right measurement data at the right test point, every time. Now you can spend less time setting up your tester and organizing data, giving you more time to perform valuable testing.

Fluke TruTest Software

An intuitive interface and live onscreen dashboard make it quick and simple to see the status of all your clients. Customer information may be inputted directly on the software; uploaded with test results from the 1673FC via a USB-C interface; or downloaded from the Fluke Connect App. A user-friendly report builder formats this data into a test certificate complete with your company logo and signature. Fluke’s TruTest Software allows you to create reports compliant with the following regional standards:

It also includes a pre-configured international report template and is updated as necessary to accommodate additional regional standards.

Fluke Connect App

Compatibility with the Fluke Connect App not only reduces documenting time but optimises testing efficiency too. The Fluke Connect App wirelessly synchronises data saved to the Fluke 1674FC to your Cloud storage for fast download to the TruTest Software. Furthermore, photos of faults or assets can be assigned to specific test points along with necessary notes. In addition to this, as the Fluke Connect App is compatible with an array of Fluke Tools, such as the Fluke 1630-2 ground clamp, you can also incorporate data from these auxiliary tools into the test point record, allowing you to provide a clearer picture of a facility’s health.

Finally, to streamline data management and maximise testing efficiency, the Fluke Connect App includes an option to create and upload projects, as well as distribution boards and circuits, to the Fluke 1674FC. These guide you through testing, streamlining testing and data management.

New Programmable Auto Test

The Fluke 1674FC’s Auto Test will run through an entire insulation test sequence, ensuring you gather all the data required to complete a comprehensive report while remaining productive throughout testing. This means you can specify Auto Test sequences to include only the tests you require; once again improving the ease and efficiency of testing.

New Voltage Drop

The Fluke 1674FC Multifunction Tester determines voltage drop as both an absolute value (V) and a relative value (%) by performing a voltage drop test at the origin of the supply and the end of the circuit. Technicians/electricians can select the nominal load current of the circuit and may set the accuracy to their preferred value. As standard, the voltage drop test accuracy is set as 4% accurate to IEC 60364-xx.

New Insulation PreTest Function

The Fluke 1674FC’s patented Insulation PreTest function saves you time and money. Suppose the Fluke 1674FC detects appliances connected to the system under test. In that case, the Insulation PreTest function will protect the installation against costly mistakes by halting the insulation test and providing an audible and visual alert.

New SPD Test

Designed to measure the break voltage of surge protection devices, the Fluke 1674FC Multifunction Tester will ascertain and display the AC and DC break voltages of SPDs. The SPD Test offers a selectable test voltage of 500V or 1000V DC.

New IMD Test

This test simulates an insulation error (L-PE) in an IT system. It offers a selectable resistance value between 500Ω and 500 kΩ and includes a Stopwatch function for measuring response times up to 100s.
