Description
Fluke 1555 Insulation Resistance Tester (10kV)
The Fluke 1555 Insulation Resistance Tester (10kV), joined by the completely redesigned 1550C, is the ideal choice for digitally testing insulation resistance up to 10kV and 2TΩ. Rated best in class IEEE 43-2000, this product is capable of testing a wide range of voltage equipment including, but not limited to, generators, motors, and cables and comes with a three year warranty as well as both a CAT III and CAT IV 600 V safety rating.
The 1555 features a wide range of selectable test voltages in 50 V steps from 250 up to 1000 V and 100 V steps for anything above and beyond 1000 V. Capable of measuring both capacitance and leakage current, the unit comes equipped with voltage breakdown detection which alerts the user of any present voltage up to 600 V ac of dc. An additional guard system also exists to eliminate the effect of surface leakage current when testing high-resistance measurements.
Automatic calculation of Delectric Absorption (DAR) and Polarization Index (PI) is instantly accessible with no additional setup required.
The Fluke 1555 is extremely user friendly as it comes fully equipped with a large digital/analog LCD screen perfect for easy viewing along with 99 memory locations capable of storing user measurements. Each unit of memory stored can also be given a unique, user defined label to help keep measurements organized and easily accessible for future recall.
Additionally, the 1555 features a battery that boasts a life span of over 750 tests between charges and a timer with a 99 minute cap for those lengthy resistance testing sessions.
The Fluke 1555 is the perfect tool for taking preventative measures or providing predictive maintenance to stave off any potential equipment failures well before they occur.
