Metrel MI3125-L Eurotest Combo Lite Multifunction Installation Tester

The Metrel MI3125-L Eurotest Combo Lite Multifunction Installation Tester can be used to perform a variety of electrical and installation safety tests on domestic and industrial installations, as well as single, multiphase, TT and TN systems. This instrument includes tests required by the EN 61557 standard, such as:

• TRMS voltage
• TRMS frequency
• Phase sequence
• Line impedance
• Loop impedance
• Loop impedance with Trip Lock RCD function (does not trip RCDs whilst testing)
• RCD testing (general and selective, type AC and A) with an automated testing procedure
• Continuity of PE conductors with a 200mA test current and an automatic polarity change
• Insulation resistance (measure up to 1000MΩ) with a DC test voltage (50-1000V)

The Metrel MI3125 Eurotest Combo Lite Multifunction Installation Tester includes a dedicated help screen for each test, which details how to perform each measurement and how to connect the multifunction tester in order to perform each test. This adds to the Metrel MI3125’s ease-of-use.

Also adding to this instrument’s ease-of-use is the integrated characteristics of fuses and RCDs which facilitates the automatic evaluation of the results for these tests. This instrument also includes built-in loop impedance tables allowing it to evaluate, automatically, the results of line and loop impedance tests in comparison to applicable regulations. The Metrel MI3125 Multifunction tester will indicate whether it deems a result to have passed or failed each test via a red (fail) or green (pass) LED light located on both sides of the LCD display.

Further to this, the user is able to view the measurement, measurement parameters and any messages clearly via the large, graphic, easy-to-read display with a backlight.

Additionally, the online voltage monitoring feature allows the user to monitor up to three voltages in real-time.

Finally, this tester has been optimised for longevity and to this end includes a built-in charger and a set of rechargeable NiMH batteries. The Metrel MI3125 Eurotest Combo Lite Multifunction Installation Tester is also designed with upgradeable technology ensuring that, should any regulations change, its firmware can be upgraded to accommodate the most up-to-date information.
