Metrel MD 9231 Industrial True RMS AC/DC Clamp Meter
The Metrel MD 9231 Industrial True RMS AC/DC Clamp Meter is an industrial-grade AC/DC clamp meter ideal for use in a wide variety of applications such as system maintenance, power system checking and high level industrial/electrical testing.
With large-size jaw opening of 51mm, the MD 9231 will comfortably fit around both medium and larger conductors to measure current up to 1000A AC/DC. This is a true RMS clamp meter, so if you’re measuring on AC it’ll take into account the effects of irregular waveforms and ensure your results are as accurate as possible.
The MD 2931 also doubles up as a fully functional digital multimeter and can be used to measure AC/DC voltage to 1000V and also perform resistance, continuity (with acoustic buzzer), diode, frequency and capacitance measurements. A built-in VFD feature is also included, ensuring that the instrument is capable of measuring true values in accordance with frequency.
This digital clamp meter includes a wide variety of additional features, including a backlit, 6000 count display, built-in torch, data hold, MIN/MAX/AVG and a relative zero function.
The Metrel MD 9231 is CAT IV 600V and CAT III 1000V overvoltage rated.
