The Megger PAT410 PAT Tester is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a reliable PAT tester with downloadable memory storage, allowing you to store all your results, then catalogue them on a PC.
The entry-level model in Megger’s series of fully downloadable PAT testers, the PAT410 is designed for PAT testing in any application. The tester can be used in hotels, public houses, schools, colleges, nurseries, shops, offices, theatres, banks, restaurants, cafes, sports and leisure facilities and absolutely anywhere where you’ll be testing a large amount of appliances and need to store the appliance ID numbers alongside their testing results.
Megger’s PAT410 makes cataloguing PAT testing results as simple as possible. The tester can store up to 10,000 individual testing records and – thanks to a built-in QWERTY keyboard – making amendments to your appliance notes is extremely simple. Done with testing? Insert a USB stick into the tester, download to it, then plug into your PC and view your results in either CSV format (compatible with Microsoft Excel) or buy Megger’s PowerSuite software (sold separately) for full database asset management, certificate generation and much more.
The Megger PAT410 is designed to help you speed up testing. As well as the QWERTY keyboard, this tester also includes 5 soft keys for direct access to your frequently used functions. Automatic testing routines also help you to speed up your tests, or you can use the manual mode to configure your test times and select different appliance pass limits as needed.
This PAT tester is suitable for checking a wide variety of appliances, including class I and II, IT equipment and power leads (including extension leads). The PAT410 will carry out all tests as defined in the IET Code of Practice, including Earth bond/continuity, insulation (at 250 and 500V), substitute/differential/touch current leakage tests, operational checks and also performs specific earth bond, insulation, polarity and portable RCD tests on extension leads.
