Martindale MTL10 Test Lamp
Voltage indication can be conducted safely and securely using the Martindale MTL10 Test Lamp, which takes measurements of voltage between the range of 50 V to 500 V AC and DC voltage.
The tough and ergonomic design of this test lamp is also fully in compliance with the BS EN 61243-3 and BS EN 61010, CAT III 1000 V and CAT IV 6000 V safety regulations and meets all Health and Safety Executive recommendations.
Both parts of this Drummond test lamp – the probe and the lamp housing – come with a finger shield and a probe tip that is fully insulated. The cables are constructed from two layers of double insulation, and the inner insulation is coloured white so clear warnings are given to the user of any abrasion that could compromise safety. They’re also heat and oil resistant.
To ensure that this test lamp can be used in many situations, the probe tip is positioned at a right angle and comes with two extra straight tips. It is also possible to rotate these probes 90 degrees, 180 degrees and 270 degrees.
The Martindale MTL10 Test Lamp provides four individual bands of illumination, each of which has a 360-degree viewing angle. This allows for voltage to be indicated to the levels of 50V, 100V, 200V and 400V even in sunlight.
