Description
Fluke 771 Milliamp Process Clamp Meter
The introductory device in Fluke’s 700 series of process clamp meters, this Fluke 771 Milliamp Process Clamp Meter can be used to carry out non-contact mA loop measurements with high accuracy of 0.2%.
When testing 4 to 20mA signals the 771 doesn’t require the user to break the loop, speeding up testing time with no need whatsoever to carry out loop isolation. It can also be used measure mA signals for PLC and control system analogue I/O without breaking the loop in order to measure low level DC current.
The clamp of the 771 can be detached, making it easier to insert the unit into difficult areas. A measurement spotlight is also included as part of the tester, allowing the user to illuminate the testing point and ensure that they can see exactly what they’re doing.
The 771 also includes a 99.9mA range mode which is ideal for measuring 10 to 50mA signals in older control systems.
