Description
Fluke 754 Documenting Process Calibrator HART Communication
The upgraded version of Fluke’s 753, the Fluke 754 Documenting Process Calibrator HART Communication can do everything the 753 can do plus also includes HART communication capability!
Designed to support the commands in HART protocol version 5.7, the 754 includes a number of different HART functions including universal commands (read manufacturer and device type, read primary variable and more), common practice comments (read multiple variables, set damping time or perform loop tests) and device-specific commands (e.g. sensor trim). It also includes point-to-point operation for connecting the 754 to a single HART device using a 4-20mA loop, multi-drop mode for bussing together several HART instruments and Burst mode for transmitting bursts of data from the 754 without waiting to be interrogated by a master unit.
On top of its HART functionality the Fluke 754 is also a multifunctional process calibrator. This means it can measure, source and simulate many different parameters, including RTDs, pressure and electrical signals. All of the information is directly logged into the instrument’s built-in memory and can be downloaded and interacted with further via PC.
