Fluke 2042 Cable Locator (Transmitter Receiver)
Including both a transmitter and receiver, the equipment used in this Fluke 2042 Cable Locator pack can be used to accurately trace cables through walls, floors and ceilings.
Compatible with both live and dead cables, the system works by injecting a signal directly into the cable. The receiver then picks up on this signal and gives the user information on the tested cable.
The signal used by the transmitter is specially digitally coded and guarantees clear signal identification when testing. The signal can be adjusted either automatically or manually and the transmitter has a built-in LCD screen which shows transmitting level, transmitting code and external voltage values.
