    This ETI RayTemp 8 Infrared Thermometer Kit version of the ETI RayTemp 8 includes all of the following as standard:

    With this ETI RayTemp 8 Infrared Thermometer Kit, you have everything you need for either scanning a surface without direct contact, or for making direct contact for more accurate results. This kit is highly recommended for use in testing food or liquids, but is also appropriate for a wide range of other temperature applications.

    ETI’s RayTemp 8 is a dual-capability thermometer; it includes the ability to either use the infrared mode for non-contact measurements, or you can use a wide range of type K probes (including the one included) for measuring a wider variety of temperature parameters ranging from the temperature or air to liquid temperatures (capabilities vary depending on probe used).

    This thermometer is highly accurate, reliable and is easy to use, with adjustbale emissivity to cater for different surface types.



    • Dual function digital thermometer – infrared, non-contact surface measurements plus a type K connector for use with a wide variety of optional type K thermocouple probes (sold separately)
    • Infrared temperature range from -60 to 500°C
    • Type K measurement range from -64 to 1370°C
    • Precision 8 dot circular laser targeting system for infrared mode
    • 12:1 distance-to-spot ratio (hold around 12 inches away for a measurement spot of 1 inch)
    • Resolution of 0.1°C/°F from -9.9 to 199.9°C, then 1°C above this range
    • Accuracy of ±2% of reading for infrared, ±1% for probe
    • Switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit measurement modes
    • MIN/MAX mode calculates and displays the minimum or maximum values taken over a period of time
    • Calculates the difference between MAX/MIN temperatures and also displays average temperature
    • Powered by 2 x 1.5V AAA batteries with up to 180 hours of continuous use battery life
