ETI RayTemp 3 Infrared Thermometer
The ETI RayTemp 3 Infrared Thermometer is a simple-to-use infrared thermometer highly recommended for use in the food service industry.
As an infrared thermometer, the RayTemp 3 requires no contact with a surface to make a measurement. Instead, temperature can be measured from a distance, reducing the risk of cross-contamination between foods as no contact is actually made.
For precise targeting of a measurement area, the RayTemp 3 includes an 8 dot circular laser indicator, with the measured point being inside the diameter of the circle. The overall diameter of the circle will change depending on how far/how close you are to the target; the recommended distance is 12:1 (12 inch distance for a 1 inch measurement circle).
The RayTemp 3 can measure temperature from – 60 to 500°C with assured accuracy of ±1°C from 0 to 65°C, then ±2°C afterwards. Resolution is to 0.1°C from -9.9 to 199.9°C and increases to 1°C above this point. On the screen, the RayTemp 3 will simultaneously show current temperature plus the maximum temperature taken since you began measuring.
This infrared thermometer can also be used outside of the food industry and is excellent for measuring most surface temperatures.
