Amprobe AM-555 True-RMS Industrial Digital Multimeter
The Amprobe AM-555 True-RMS Industrial Digital Multimeter is ideal for conducting critical measurements of HVAC, residential, industrial and electrical equipment. It is intended as a replacement for the Amprobe AM-550-EUR Industrial Digital Multimeter and has the following measurement capabilities:
- AC Voltage: 1mV to 1000V
- DC Voltage: 0.1mV to 1000V
- AC Current: 0.1µA to 20A
- DC Current: 0.1µA to 20A
- Resistance: 0.1Ω to 60MΩ
- Capacitance: 60nF to 60mF
- Frequency: 1Hz to 60MHz
- Temperature: -40°C to 1000°C
The Amprobe AM-555-EUR True-RMS Industrial Digital Multimeter can also conduct duty cycles; diode tests and audible continuity tests. The Amprobe AM-555-EUR True-RMS Industrial Digital Multimeter is able to take true-RMS measurements and includes both an automatic and manual measurement range selection. It also features a low-pass filter and two temperature inputs.
In addition to adjusting the measurement range to suit the user’s needs, he/she may also set the instrument to indicate particular measurements. The Amprobe AM-555-EUR True-RMS Industrial Digital Multimeter includes an integrated data memory (Data Hold) function which freezes the current value on screen, allowing the user to record the reading. Alternatively, the operator may utilise the MIN/MAX function to detect and view the minimum and maximum measurements read over the course of a testing period. The user may also take peak value measurements and relative value measurements.
Readings are indicated on the illuminated display with 61 segment bar graph. This display, combined with the product’s integrated LED torch, makes the Amprobe AM-555-EUR True-RMS Industrial Digital Multimeter suitable for use in dark environments. Further to this, its robust housing and included carrying case ensure that this instrument remains practical even within rugged environments.
Adding to this product’s resilience is its non-contact voltage detection which protects both the user and the Amprobe AM-555-EUR True-RMS Industrial Digital Multimeter from damage caused by live circuits.
Finally, the Amprobe AM-555-EUR True-RMS Industrial Digital Multimeter’s Auto Power Off function extends its battery life, ensuring that it remains functional for longer.
